The Performance Manifesto (WIP. For Invited Founders.)
We are uncovering better ways of achieving high performance by doing it, and enabling others to do the same.
Through this pursuit, we have come to value:
• Ownership and self-leadership | over micromanagement and dependency
• Consistent execution and results | over long-term planning without traction
• Authentic connection and collaboration | over transactional communication
• Adaptation and energy renewal | over rigid routines and hustle culture
That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.
12 Principles of High Performance
1. Our highest priority is to create impact through consistent, high-quality execution.
2. We welcome change, challenge, and competition—using them as fuel for growth.
3. We deliver progress visibly and rhythmically—in sprints, cycles, and scorecards.
4. Leaders and contributors operate as one team—with shared rhythm, rituals, and outcomes.
5. We build around motivated individuals—supporting them with autonomy, energy, and coaching.
6. The most effective performance development happens in real-world, real-time feedback loops.
7. Tangible progress and measurable results are our primary indicators of success.
8. Sustainable high performance is non-negotiable. We prioritize renewal, rhythm, and recovery.
9. Excellence is a habit—formed through rituals, role clarity, and continual self-optimization.
10. Simplicity enables speed. We eliminate friction, distractions, and unnecessary process.
11. High performance is a team sport. Self-organized squads unlock creativity, flow, and resilience.
12. We reflect frequently, reset energetically, and recommit intentionally—to stay in the growth zone.
This Manifesto reflects a new kind of rhythm for high performance — one that is grounded in clarity, flow, energy renewal, and aligned execution. From daily rituals to collective retrospectives, from role clarity to mindset work, it brings a powerful truth to life: As within, so without.
